Jalandhar, Nov. 17 -- Ahlcon Public School celebrated Guru Nanak Jayanti with fervour. On this occasion, Kirtan Darbar was held by the students. They sang religious hymns from the Guru Granth Sahib. The highlights of the programme were sakhis, poems and speeches on Guru Nanak Dev's life and teaching. Besides this, the students also recited Shabad. Path of Japji Sahib was done by the students. Lectures were also presented by the students on the importance of religion. Principal DN Das conveyed his greetings to students, parents and all the staff members on this occasion.
