Chandigarh, June 25 -- Chandigarh The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday kicked off an agitation, 'bijli andolan, against 'unreasonable' power tariff hike in Punjab.

Demanding review of the hike announced by PSERC last month, AAP leaders in districts sent memoranda to chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh through deputy commissioners.

Party's legislature group leader Harpal Singh Cheema, who is the leader of opposition in Punjab assembly, held meetings with party workers at Ludhiana and Kurali (Mohali).
