9th edition of BVP'MUN 2026 held at Bhavan Vidyalaya
Panchkula, April 29 -- Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula successfully hosted the 9th edition of its prestigious ModelUnited Nations Conference - BVP MUN'26, held from 24 April to 26 April 2026.
Centered around the theme 'Empathy', the conference brought together over 450 students and teachers from Panchkula, Chandigarh, and neighbouring cities, transforming the campus into a vibrant hub of global discourse, collaboration, and intellectual exchange.
The inauguration ceremony commenced with the timeless thoughts of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore, setting a reflective and purposeful tone for the event. Delegates were encouraged to engage in meaningful dialogue, fearless expression and thoughtful deliberation.
The esteemed chief guest, Arshinder Singh Chawla, director general of the state (vigilance and anti-Corruption bureau), Haryana Police, addressed the gathering and inspired participants to lead with integrity, responsibility, and sensitivity, focused on quality over quantity and discipline in life keeps one ahead of others.
The presence of distinguished dignitaries, including A.N Mathur, chairman of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Panchkula Kendra, further elevated the occasion.
As part of the inauguration, the ceremonial lighting of the lamp was followed by a soulful musical presentation by the school band based on raag durga, beautifully blending Indian and middle eastern musical elements, creating an atmosphere of harmony, introspection and balance....
