Mohali, Sept. 11 -- Residents of Nayagaon are up in arms against the municipal council for failing to curb the growing menace of stray dogs as the area witnesses an increase in number of dog bitecases.
As per the data provided by the civil dispensary in Sector 19, Chandigarh, as many as 805 cases of dog bites were reported from Nayagaon in last nine months.
In January, total 105 cases were reported, followed by 108 in February, 100 in March, 103 in April, 94 in May, 96 in June, 101 in July and 98 in August.
