Chandigarh, Feb. 21 -- The Punjab government on Friday issued transfer and posting orders of eight IAS and 88 PCS officers with immediate effect. Rajdeep Singh Brar, additional deputy commissioner (ADC), general, Tarn Taran, has been posted as ADC, urban development, Bathinda, and also additional chief administrator, Bathinda Development Authority. Rubinderjit Singh Brar, additional CEO, Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion, and in addition additional secretary, NRI Affairs, has also been given the charge of additional secretary, local government. Divya P, sub-divisional magistrate (SDM), Kharar, is the new ADC (rural development), Jalandhar. Vivek Kumar Modi, SDM, Adampur, has been posted as ADC (General), Barnala, in place of PCS officer Amit Bamby. Krishna Pal Rajpoot, SDM, Abohar, has been posted as ADC (rural development), Ferozepur. Davy Goyal, SDM, Bholath, is the new ADC (general), Muktsar, in place of Gurpreet Singh Thind. Kritika Goyal, SDM, Balachaur, is now SDM, Mehal Kalan, while the services of Rakesh Kumar Meena, SDM, Pathankot, have been placed at the disposal of the department of local government for posting as joint commissioner, municipal corporation, Bathinda. Gurpreet Singh Thind, ADC, Muktsar, has been posted as ADC, general, Tarn Taran. All officers have been directed to join their new place of posting immediately....
