Chandigarh, July 14 -- In two coordinated operations within 24 hours, the Border Security Force (BSF) and Punjab Police seized heroin and pistol parts along the Punjab border. Troops recovered parts of a pistol and a magazine from Dal village in Tarn Taran. In a separate operation in Ferozepur's Kilche village, a joint search led to the recovery of 575 grams of heroin from an agricultural field. Late on Friday, a joint team of BSF and Punjab Police apprehended a smuggler near Miyawali Chowk in the Khemkaran area of Tarn Taran, recovering a pistol and magazine.
