48 graduate from Army cadet college, to become officers
Dehradun, June 7 -- The Indian Military Academy (IMA) on Friday conferred the bachelor's degree by the prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, to 18 cadets of science stream and 30 cadets of humanities stream of the Army Cadet College Wing (ACC) Wing during the convocation ceremony at Chetwode Hall of IMA.
The cadets who were of non-officer rank, completed their three-year graduation course from ACC following which they were conferred their graduation degrees from JNU by Commandant, IMA, Lt Gen Nagendra Singh.
Lt Gen Nagendra Singh in his convocation address, congratulated the cadets for successfully completing the rigorous training. He emphasised that character, self-discipline, courage, motivation, positive attitude and professional competence are pillars of a successful Army Officer....
