42 nursing colleges offer to join fight against drugs
Chandigarh, May 15 -- Forty-two nursing colleges and their affiliated hospitals have offered their support to Punjab health and family welfare minister Dr Balbir Singh's call of enhancing de-addiction facilities across the state.
The initiative aims to expand treatment infrastructure by encouraging private institutions to establish 'substance use disorder treatment centres' at their premises.
Institutions willing to join the mission will receive one-time infrastructure assistance of up to Rs.20,000 per bed, subject to verification by the district de-addiction and rehabilitation society.htc...
