35-yr-old shot dead in Rewari
Rohtak, Nov. 27 -- A 35-year-old man was shot dead by three persons outside a hotel in Rewari on Tuesday night, police said on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as Mahesh Gujjar, a resident of Alwar in Rajasthan. He had shifted to Rewari three weeks ago and was working at a hotel.
In his complaint to the police, hotel owner Vijay Pal said that Mahesh had engaged in a verbal spat with three men- Mehar Chand, sarpanch of Dabri village and his two accomplices -Tejpal and Ashok near a liquor vend on Tuesday morning.
"The three accused came outside my hotel around 8 pm on Tuesday and fired shots. When Mahesh came outside, Ashok took out his revolver and fired shots at his chest," he added.
Rewari DSP Joginder Sharma said that they have registered, adding the main accused Ashok has been arrested and other two will be arrested soon.htc...
