3 killed in Mahendergarh road crash
Rohtak, Nov. 7 -- Three persons were killed and one was injured when their car rammed into a truck near Anawas village in Mahendergarh on Wednesday night, police said.
The deceased have been identified as Lokesh Kumar, 30 and Kaushal, 21, both residents of Rewari district and Manoj Kumar, 30, a native of Karira village in Mahendergarh.
According to police, the incident took place around 10.30 pm when four persons were travelling in a car from Pali village to Dahina to attend a function and their car rammed into a truck after the truck driver applied the brakes.
"Two persons died on the spot and Kaushal succumbed to injuries during treatment at a hospital. A man in his 20's identified as Pradeep sustained minor injuries. We have registered a case of causing death due to negligence against the truck driver, who is at large," said Mahendergarh Sadar police station house officer Sandeep.
The victims post-mortem was conducted at Mahendergarh civil hospital and their bodies were handed over to their families....
