3 drones, heroin seized along Pak border
Ferozepur, Nov. 27 -- The Border Security Force (BSF) on Wednesday recovered three Pakistani drones and a packet of heroin during separate operations along the Punjab frontier.
According to the BSF, the first recovery took place late Tuesday night in the Ferozepur sector, where troops, acting on inputs of drone movement, launched a search near Kamal Wala village. The operation led to the seizure of a DJI Mavic 3 drone along with one packet of heroin weighing 557 grams from a farming field.
In the second incident, BSF personnel deployed along the Tarn Taran border responded to another drone movement. In a joint search with Punjab Police near Pallopati village, the troops recovered a DJI Mavic 3 Classic drone believed to have been used for cross-border smuggling.
A third recovery followed soon after, when an intelligence-based search in the morning hours enabled BSF troops to locate a DJI Air 3S drone lying in fields near Burj village, also in Tarn Taran district. HTC...
