Mohali, Dec. 2 -- A 25-year-old man allegedly ended his life by hanging himself at his rented accommodation in Balongi on Sunday. The deceased was a native of Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Investigating officer ASI Angrez Singh from Balongi police station said the youth had been looking for work for over two months after losing his previous job. This setback had left him under severe mental stress. Police said one of the deceased's friends was visiting him from Noida. On Sunday, the friend asked him to go out with him, but he refused. In the afternoon, he got water ready for a bath, but instead went to his room and hanged himself. In the evening, when his friend returned and opened the room's door, he was shocked to find the youth hanging. He alerted the police, who shifted the body to Civil Hospital, Kharar, for autopsy. The family members reached Mohali after being informed and were handed over the body on Monday. Further legal proceedings have been initiated in the case....
