Rohtak, Nov. 10 -- A 24-year-old man was stabbed to death allegedly by his three friends at a Jhajjar's village on Saturday evening, police said on Sunday. The deceased has been identified as Deepak Kumar, 24, of Rohad village in Jhajjar. In his complaint, victim's father Raghubir said that his son was at home on Saturday morning when his friend Sonu came to call him. "I received a call from Sonu around 7.30 pm on Saturday and he told me that Deepak sustained some injuries and they are rushing him to Rohtak. When we reached PGIMS, doctors told us that Deepak has passed away," he added. A spokesman of Jhajjar police said that a case of murder has been registered against Sonu, Chirag and Praveen Kumar at Asauda police station. "Prime facie it came to light that the accused stabbed Deepak to death with a sharp-edged weapon after a verbal spat when they were going somewhere in a car.
