Raipur, June 27 -- Two Maoists carrying a collective reward of Rs.6 lakh were killed in an encounter with security forces in Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh, police said on Thursday. The gunfight broke out on Wednesday evening in the Abujhmad forest area in the district during a joint operation involving personnel from the District Reserve Guard of Narayanpur and Kondagaon, the Special Task Force and 41st and 45th Battalions of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police, officials said. The encounter led to the recovery of the bodies of two uniformed female Maoist cadres. From the site of the encounter, the forces recovered one INSAS rifle with eight rounds and a magazine, one country-made .315 bore rifle with four rounds, and 15 rounds of .303 rounds....
