Ranchi, Aug. 7 -- Security forces on Wednesday gunned down two Maoists, including a top commander of the People's Liberation Front of India (PLFI) carrying a bounty of Rs.15 lakh, in separate encounters in Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh, police said. In Jharkhand, the exchange of fire broke out between members of the PLFI and security personnel on Tuesday in Gumla , when forces were carrying out a search operation, police officials said.
