Jalandhar, March 27 -- Two labourers were killed after an old building's roof they were dismantling collapsed in Jalandhar's Transport Nagar on Thursday. Hailing from Samastipur district of Bihar, the deceased - Dinesh Kumar (40) and his nephew Raja Kumar (31) - had been residing in Jalandhar's Bulandpur. The incident happened in the afternoon when both were demolishing the roof of an old building. After the roof collapsed, both were trapped beneath the debris, police said. Investigation officer Gurmail Singh said local residents rushed the victims to a nearby hospital where they were declared brought dead.
