Chandigarh, April 10 -- The Haryana government has placed two IAS officers, Pradeep Kumar (2011 batch) and Ram Kumar Singh (2012 batch), under suspension. Separate orders regarding the suspensions were issued by chief secretary Anurag Rastogi on Wednesday night. While no reason was officially ascribed for the suspension of the two IAS officers, who were promoted from the state civil services, officials pleading anonymity said the action is linked to the ongoing investigations into the alleged misappropriation and embezzlement of government funds by private sector banks, IDFC First, AU Small Finance and Kotak Mahindra.
