Panchkula, March 22 -- Two persons have been arrested for allegedly duping a woman of Rs.10.70 lakh, Panchkula police said on Saturday. The complainant, who hails from Kharar, alleged that she wanted a Rs.7-lakh loan but the accused, including Rahul Aggarwal, Abhishek Dhir and Prashant, "conspired to misuse her documents and secured a higher loan (Rs.18 lakh) from State Bank of India's Sector 4 branch in Panchkula. She alleged that the accused siphoned off Rs.10.70 lakh. Rahul and Abhishek are already in jail in another case. They were brought on production warrants for questioning.
