Rohtak, Dec. 5 -- Around 17 medical stores were found violating norms during the inspections held in Sirsa district as a part of the "Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan" and the drug de-addiction campaign, on Thursday. A government spokesman said that the campaign was carried out under the guidance of health minister Arti Singh Rao and the health teams conducted raids in several villages. "As many as 26 medical stores were inspected, of which 17 were found violating certain rules. No banned or intoxicating drug was found in the medical stores and action will be taken for violating norms," the spokesman added. State drugs controller Lalit Goel said that seven drugs control officers were deployed in the campaign and action against illegal sale of drugs will be continued in future too.htc...
