Tarn Taran, Oct. 25 -- The race for the Tarn Taran assembly seat has now narrowed down to 15 candidates following the withdrawal of five nominations on the final day of the process. According to Gurmeet Singh, the returning officer-cum-SDM for Tarn Taran, the withdrawal of nominations took place on Thursday, leaving a crowded field for the by-election. The candidates remaining in the contest include prominent party representatives such as Sukhwinder Kaur Randhawa (SAD), Harjit Singh Sandhu (BJP), Harmeet Singh Sandhu (AAP), and Karanbir Singh Burj (INC).
