LAKHIMPUR KHERI, April 5 -- A total of 108 cylinders have been stolen by unidentified burglars from a gas agency godown in Uttar Pradesh's Lakhimpur Kheri district, police said on Saturday. Palia deputy superintendent of police Jitendra Singh Parihar said that a complaint has been received about the theft at Karuna Bharat Gas agency godown located on Makanpur road under the Palia Kotwali limits. He added that investigation into the incident was underway. Police said that 98 of the cylinders were refilled and 10 were empty. The gas agency owner, Amit Singh, told HT that the burglary was discovered on Saturday morning when an employee at the agency, arrived there to open the godown and found the main gate forced open.htc...
