Meerut, Feb. 17 -- Three people were killed and two others critically injured after an unidentified vehicle ploughed into multiple victims across a 12-km stretch within 20 minutes late on Sunday in Badaun district of Uttar Pradesh, police said on Monday. The first collision happened at 5 pm when a white Mahindra Bolero rammed a motorcycle from behind, killing 25-year-old Mukesh Kumar, a resident of Bareilly, near Bahedi Mod. His brother-in-law, Madanlal (50), sustained serious injuries. The vehicle driver then ran over 20-year-old Vishal Singh of Laua village, who later succumbed to his injuries, before hitting another bike near the Roshan Nagar turn on on the Budaun-Bijnor highway, killing a 55-year-old man and injuring another man.
