Panchkula, Sept. 8 -- To nurture healthy eating habits from an early age, Nutrition Week was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the kindergarten and primary wing. The purpose of the celebration was to guide the tiny tots that good nutrition is the foundation of lifelong good health. The efforts received a big applause when the little hearts from Nursery, LKG & UKG brought colourful and nutritious tiffins packed with fruits, sprouts, and healthy snacks, showcasing the appreciation by the parents also. A special session was conducted by the doctor in the school to guide them about the balanced diet and healthy lifestyle. Little chefs from Classes 1 and 2 put on their aprons and prepared delicious vegetable sandwiches and enjoyed the activity by eating the fresh food made by their own tender hands. Poem recitation on 'Healthy Eating' left the environment cheerful with a message "Eat Healthy, Stay Healthy" for all. The week-long activities concluded with an interactive discussion followed by a video reinforcing the importance of a healthy diet for a strong body and mind. Principal Ritu Dilbagi appreciated the efforts of the teachers and encouraged the students to eat healthy food and enjoy medicine free lives....
