Chandigarh, Aug. 28 -- The Punjab governor and UT administrator Gulab Chand Kataria on Wednesday held a Public Hearing at the UT Secretariat, where citizens from across Chandigarh participated and shared their concerns regarding their personal issues, civic amenities and public services. The governor patiently heard each grievance and directed the concerned officials to ensure that prompt, effective, and hassle-free services are delivered to the public. He categorically directed that there should be no delay in grievance redressal and essential services must reach Chandigarh citizens without any obstacles. Earlier in the day, the governor also met Olympic gold medalist Abhinav Bindra to review the progress of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the Chandigarh administration's sports and education department and the Abhinav Bindra Foundation Trust. He appreciated the initiatives being undertaken under the collaboration and emphasised the importance of collective efforts in transforming Chandigarh into a vibrant sports hub capable of nurturing young talent and inspiring future champions....
