New Delhi, Dec. 17 -- Hours after a Delhi court refused to take cognisance of the Enforcement Directorate(ED)'s allegations of money laundering in the National Herald case, the party claimed that "the conspiracy of malicious intent for political revenge" has been foiled. Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge said: "Now, with the FIR quashed, it has been proven once again that truth has prevailed, and truth will always prevail." Congress general secretary KC Venugopal said the court's ruling showed that the case is "without jurisdiction, without FIR". "Time and time again, the BJP-controlled ED has tried its best to frame the Congress leadership in the totally bogus National Herald case," Venugopal added.
