Chandigarh, July 28 -- Punjab would become a safer and a prosperous state once the Congress returns to power, Partap Singh Bajwa, leader of Opposition in the state assembly, said while addressing members of the Punjabi diaspora in Australia. Addressing a gathering at Bowman Hall, Blacktown, Sydney, Bajwa talked about "restoring" peace, good governance and inclusive development in Punjab.
