Chandigarh, Nov. 2 -- Registration number "CH01-DB-0001" fetched the highest bid of Rs.22.58 lakh at the latest e-auction of vehicle numbers by the Registering and Licensing Authority (RLA). The auction was held for vehicle registration numbers of new series "CH01-DB", along with left over fancy/special registration numbers of previous series. The auction, which was conducted from October 29 to October 31, raked in a total revenue of Rs.2.7 crore, with registration number "CH01-DB-0007" going for the second highest amount of Rs.10.94 lakh. In the previous auction held in August, registration number "0001" of the CH01-DA series was sold for the highest-ever price of Rs.36.43 lakh against the reserve rate of Rs.50,000. The second highest bid was won for the number "0003" at Rs.17.84 lakh, followed by the number "0009" at Rs.16.82 lakh. This auction had helped the RLA earn the highest-ever revenue of Rs.4.08 crore....
