'Anandpur Sahib to be made world-class heritage centre'
Chandigarh, Oct. 8 -- Punjab tourism and cultural affairs minister Tarunpreet Singh Sond on Tuesday said a plan has been made to transform Anandpur Sahib into a world-class spiritual and heritage destination, keeping in mind the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur. He said that one of the key highlights is Bhai Jaita Ji Memorial, dedicated recently.
The minister said a heritage street from the main road to Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib is being developed using white marble costing Rs.18 crore. Its stone was laid by CM on October 5. htc...
