India, Nov. 28 -- Three days after veteran actor Dharmendra passed away on November 24, his wife and longtime co-star Hema Malini shared an emotional tribute on Thursday, posting unseen photos from their life together. In her message, Hema remembered him as a "loving husband, adoring father, friend, guide and my 'go-to' person in all times of need". Calling his death an "indescribable personal loss," she wrote that she is left with "myriad memories" after their years of togetherness. Her photo carousel included an autographed picture of a young Dharmendra, moments with daughters Esha and Ahaana, and family celebrations over the decades. This is the first time Hema has publicly addressed his death. A prayer-meet invite for the late actor, scheduled for Thursday, also circulated online and went viral.
