Who is Pyjama Man, the guy who 'attacked' Ariana
India, Nov. 16 -- Social media has been buzzing with Pyjama Man, an over-excited fan who has been charged for accosting singer-actor Ariana Grande on the red carpet at the Singapore premiere of Wicked: For Good.
People on the internet were quick to recognise the individual as Johnson Wen aka 'Pyjama Man', a serial red carpet crasher who on his instagram bio describes himself as "Troll Most Hated."
Wen is a 25-year-old Australian influencer who, true to his online moniker, is known for sporting colourful pyjamas or eccentric outfits during his headline-grabbing stunts.
He also often posts videos of his escapades on Instagram, usually thanking the stars he charged at. He followed this latest incident by saying that he is a fan of the singer-actor, and added "Ariana Grande is the Queen" to his Insta bio.
Wen has cultivated a reputation for crashing celebrity events. At the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup final, Wen ran onto the field; while at 2024 Paris Olympics, he charged onto the tracks, delaying the event. In June, he jumped on stage during singer Katy Perry's performance, and in August, he crashed The Weeknd's show, before being escorted off the stage by security.
While Wen might have just been pulling off a prank, many online are not impressed. Instagram users often react to his posts negatively, with some writing, "How are you not arrested yet?"
