India, Dec. 8 -- After the success of Bareilly Ki Barfi and Shubh Mangal Saavdhan (both 2017), senior actor Seema Pahwa is glad that while she is usually cast as a mother in films, "at least each character is a different kind of mother now". "These days, movies are actor-oriented and I am thrilled to be getting good roles now," says the actor, who was last seen in the Ayushmann Khurrana-led film, Bala.

"I have three to four films lined up for release and I am happy that in each of them I have an important role. Earlier, people would not think much about casting for the mother's role.
