India, Oct. 9 -- Singer Taylor Swift has denied rumors that she turned down the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show, which is set to be headlined by Bad Bunny. During her appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" on Monday, the 35-year-old songwriter addressed the false claim that she refused the NFL's biggest stage because she wouldn't be allowed to own the performance footage. "No, no, no," she firmly stated.
The entertainment company has been founded by Jay-Z. He and his team have always been supportive, often checking in casually about the Super Bowl, Taylor told Fallon. She added, "We're honest with him, I'm in love with a guy who plays that sport on that field," referring to her fiance, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis.
Taylor described football as "violent chess" and "gladiators without swords," saying she's focused on her fiance who is a footballer Travis's high-pressure sport. "Can you imagine him risking it every week while I'm deciding my choreography?" she joked, adding she's too focused on him to consider the Super Bowl performance, though Travis would love it.
