India, May 25 -- D ays after revealing actor Dipika Kakar's diagnosis of a liver tumour in his vlog titled Need Your Prayers, her husband, actor Shoaib Ibrahim has shared a fresh health update. Taking to Insta Stories, he informed fans that Dipika is scheduled to undergo surgery next week for the "tennis ball-sized liver tumour". He added that she is home, and her fever "is under control". The actor first opened up about Dipika's health struggles on May 15 in his vlog, sharing, "Dipika was not well. She had a serious stomach issue. When I was in Chandigarh, Dipika started experiencing stomach pain, which we initially thought was due to acidity. But when the pain persisted, she consulted our family doctor, who also treated my father. She was put on antibiotics and had some blood tests done. She continued the antibiotics until May 5. After my father's birthday, her pain returned, and the blood tests revealed an infection." Following further tests, the couple received the shocking diagnosis. Shoaib explained, "Our doctor asked us to come back for another visit. During that consultation, we were advised to get a CT scan, which revealed a tumour in the left lobe of Dipika's liver - about the size of a tennis ball. It was very shocking for us."
