India, Feb. 22 -- The announcement that Amazon MGM Studios will gain creative control of the James Bond franchise has fans in shock. On Thursday, Variety reported that long-time producers and custodians of 007, Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, would be stepping back. Amazon will now have the right to call the shots about the franchise, including casting the new Bond. As the news surfaced, fans expressed their concern. "Shocking that the EON era is officially over...I can only hope Amazon does right by 007," wrote an X user.
