India, July 30 -- Slowly but steadily, pilates has made its way to the top for fitness enthusiasts with celebrities like Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Shamita Shetty and Mira Rajput Kapoor taking to this trend. It also inspired a social media phenomenon called the #pilatesgirl. With the addition of the machine called reformer, one can take their fitness goals up a notch by adding some resistance, making it beneficial for strength-building and sculpting. "Reformer pilates offering a gentler, yet equally effective path to full-body strength and tone. Known for its ability to sculpt, lengthen, and align the body without harsh impact, reformer pilates uses a specialised machine that relies on springs, pulleys, and a gliding platform to add resistance and control to every movement," says pilates trainer Prerna Khetrapal.
