India, Oct. 19 -- Afghanistan cricket captain Rashid Khan has condemned the recent Pakistani air strikes on civilian areas along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border, which claimed the lives of three young cricketers among other civilians. The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has identified the players as Kabeer, Sibghatullah, and Haroon. Sharing his grief on social media, Rashid highlighted the loss of future talent and called for urgent intervention. He described the attack as "immoral" and "barbaric," calling it "a tragedy that claimed the lives of women, children, and aspiring young cricketers who dreamed of representing their nation on the world stage." The ACB also responded to the attacks by withdrawing its men's team from the upcoming tri-series that involved Pakistan. The Pakistani air strikes on late Friday violated a previously agreed ceasefire truce, restarting a series of border clashes. htc...
