Raj Kundra says he never created or produced pornographic content
India, March 18 -- Former cricketer and Rajya Sabha member Harbhajan Singh recently spoke in the Parliamet urging for a ban on pornographic and sexual content on the internet for the mental well-being of children. Businessman Raj Kundra, who has been accused of allegedly distributing pornographic content through mobile apps and is facing a trial, expressed his support in the matter.
Issuing a statement, Raj said that in the past four years, an "image has been painted of me that is far from reality". He added, "Let me state this clearly and unequivocally: I have never created, produced, or been involved in pornographic content. I never have, and I never will. I do not support it, I do not endorse it, and I strongly believe it is harmful to our society."
Raj asserted due to his experience, he is committed to speaking up against pornography and the content available online. "As a nation, we must take stronger steps to protect our future generations," he said, urging the government to regulate social media access for children under the age of 16.
The businessman added that he has faith in the the judicial system of India that he will be granted justice in his trial: "While I respect the process, it is no secret that our judicial system is overburdened, and delays in justice can often feel like justice denied. However, I firmly believe that one day the truth will prevail. Until then, I find peace in my inner conscience, in my faith in myself, and above all, in Waheguru," he said, adding "This is not about image. This is about principle."HTC...
