Pune is among the hottest cities in India
India, Feb. 13 -- Two months into the new year and two weeks into February, Maharashtra is already experiencing an unusual rise in temperatures amid what is supposed to be winter season. Parts of the state are already witnessing extreme heat, with Pune facing the brunt of it. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has also predicted temperature fluctuations in the coming days. In INS Shivaji, Lonavala (Pune), the temperature recorded was 38.3degC, while in Talegaon, it was around 38.2degC. Pune has seen a significant rise in temperature in recent days. On February 1, Koregaon Park recorded 31.5degC, which jumped to 37degC on February 8. The IMD report confirms that Pune is now among the hottest cities in India. htc...
