India, May 23 -- Come December, American rapper-singer Post Malone will return for his second performance in India. And this time, it will be in Guwahati, marking his first-ever concert in the Northeast region. The Grammy winner will perform on December 8, announced Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma. Though there is no official confirmation from the rapper, the CM has announced that the 29-year-old will kick off a series of shows in Guwahati, Jorhat, and Dibrugarh. The rapper, known for songs like Sunflower, I Had Some Help, and Better Now, marked his maiden performance in Mumbai back in 2022. As per Sarma, the move aims at improving the state's concert tourism economy, following the rush to Meghalaya's Shillong for gigs by Ed Sheeran, Bryan Adams, and Nick Carter, and the Coldplay concert in Ahmedabad (Gujarat) in January. "We had mentioned a policy on concert tourism in this year's budget. The Cabinet approved this today," the CM told the media on Wednesday.htc...
