India, Oct. 30 -- On Monday, the Tamil Nadu Director General of Police (DGP) received emails claiming that bombs had been planted at the residences of actors Rajinikanth and Dhanush, among other VIPs in the city. The first email, received at around 8.30am, targeted Rajinikanth's Poes Garden residence, with a second threat arriving a few hours later at 6.30pm. Officials from the Teynampet Police Station and the bomb detection and disposal squad (BDDS) were dispatched to Rajinikanth's residence, but his security team declined a detailed inspection, stating no stranger had entered the home. Similar checks at Dhanush's residence identified the threat as baseless. Cyber crime investigators are now tracing the source of the emails, but no arrest has been confirmed so far. htc...
