India, Oct. 10 -- Jyoti Singh, the second wife of Bhojpuri singer-actor-turned-politician Pawan Singh, has accused him of mistreatment, infidelity, and forcing her to take abortion pills -allegations that, she claims, drove her to consume 25 sleeping pills in one instance. Both parties have recently shared differing accounts of their marital troubles. According to India Today, Jyoti Singh addressed the media at a press conference, saying, "He's saying he yearned for a child, but someone who truly does wouldn't give his wife medication. I was given medication every time. There were many things I hadn't revealed to the media, but today, Pawan Ji has forced me to. I'm not defaming him; I'm simply presenting my side." She further alleged, "When Pawan Ji was giving me those pills and I spoke out against him, he tortured me so much that I took sleeping pills. I took 25 sleeping pills at 2 am." Jyoti added that at the time of the incident, Pawan's brother Ranu and team member Deepak were present and took her to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Andheri, Mumbai, where she was treated. What Pawan said about Jyoti's allegations Pawan, recently reinstated as a BJP member, addressed the controversy on Wednesday. He told reporters, "Jyoti Singh posted on Instagram that she was coming to Lucknow to meet me. I was aware of her intentions and informed the administration. How I behaved with her - only she, I, and God know." He claimed their meeting took place in the presence of family members and that Jyoti refused to leave until their divorce case was resolved. "I asked, can a case be fought while living under the same roof? I asked the staff to prepare the food she wanted and left for a meeting, leaving my brother to speak with her," he added.htC...
