India, July 22 -- Ahead of the release of The Fantastic Four: First Steps on July 25, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige has revealed that Marvel is preparing for significant changes following the 2027 Avengers Secret Wars. While the X-Men will be recast with new actors, Kevin also hinted that new faces may be cast to play other Avengers characters like Captain America and Iron Man (played by Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr, respectively) as well. Stating that Avengers: Secret Wars, set to release in 2027, will reset the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Kevin told the media, "We're utilising that [story] not just to round out the stories we've been telling post-Endgame, just as importantly - and you can look at the Secret Wars comics for where that takes you - it very, very much sets us up for the future... Endgame, literally, was about endings. Secret Wars is about is about beginnings." However, Kevin said that this won't be a 'reboot' but a 'reset', adding that 'reboot is a scary word'. When he was asked if that meant newer actors will be cast in important roles like Iron Man or Captain America, Kevin admitted that it will happen, adding that it will be a tough ask. "I think it's hard for anybody to do that when an actor has done such a great role," he said. "How are they going to ever replace Sean Connery [as James Bond], right?"htc...
