ush Maini created history by becoming the first Indian to win a Formula 2 race, triumphing in the Sprint Race at the Monaco Grand Prix. The 25-year-old driver showed great skill and composure on the famous Monte Carlo street circuit in Monaco. This victory marks a significant milestone for Maini and Indian motorsport as a whole.
Currently a reserve driver for Alpine F1 (a Formula One team) and guided by two-time F1 World Champion Mika Hakkinen, Kush has had a strong 2024 season with five podium finishes, including a standout race in Hungary.
