India, May 9 -- Actors Hiba Nawab and Krushal Ahuja's show Jhanak has been in the news for various reasons, the latest being the upcoming 20-year-leap. The new storyline will also mark the end of Krushal and Hiba's journey on the show, along with a few other cast members. When contacted, Krushal confirms the news about his exit from the show post-leap. The actor shares, "Yes, I am quitting the show. I was informed by the team on May 7. A mail was sent to the team, and we were informed about the developments." When asked about the reason behind his decision to quit, Krushal says, "The show is taking a leap, and the storyline will be different. My character's (Anirudha) journey will end with the new story." When asked about his co-star Hiba Nawab, who plays the lead, the actor says: "Honestly, I don't know about anyone else, not even Hiba, for now. After the team received the mail, I have been shooting all alone on the sets. I haven't had the chance to meet my fellow cast members. So, can't really say who is leaving or who's staying. But I can say the leap is happening, for sure." Krushal has been a part of the show from inception in November 2023, and glad for the "18-month run" of the show and is "sad to see his role end". Looking forward, he says, "I plan to enjoy this break and return with something exciting. I won't restrict myself to doing only TV. I aim to work on all mediums."...
