Jim Sarbh on being called 50: 'They see the grey hair and my two broken hips.'

im Sarbh is 38, but the internet recently aged him a decade too soon. A social media post placed him among Bollywood's "hot at 50" actors, prompting the actor to clap back with trademark wit. "I stay fit at 50 by being 38," he wrote on X.
Ask him about the mix-up and Jim bursts out laughing: "I was flattered, it was very nice. I just thought it was funny. The list was a good one to be part of, they just got the figures wrong. I think they see the grey hair and my two broken hips and they're like, 'he must be 50'."
Fresh off Inspector Zende, where he played a character inspired by French serial killer Charles Sobhraj opposite actor Manoj Bajpayee, Jim admits he's usually offered unconventional roles. "I have no idea why I'm not approached for boy-next-door parts," he says, adding, "I'd be happy to play those too. But often, you play some things and the idea of you becomes the truth. People have to be able to imagine me in those roles, and if they can, I'll do my best."
The film features Manoj as Inspector Zende, the cop who nabbed Sobhraj twice, and culminates in a stylised showdown between the two - choreographed like a dance. "We've been joking that we had the most intimate scenes together," Jim quips....
