India, May 15 -- T he dress worn by actor Jenna Ortega to the Hurry Up Tomorrow world premiere in New York has become a talking point. Reason: The newspaper print dress, a vintage Christian Dior design, was famously worn by Sex and the City's Carrie Bradshaw, played by actor Sarah Jessica Parker. The famed design debuted at the Christian Dior Fall/Winter 2000 show at Paris Fashion Week, according to L'Officiel USA. The dress shot into the limelight when an episode of Sex and the City showed Carrie stepping out of her New York apartment wearing it. Interestingly, two versions of the dress had graced the runway at the Paris Fashion Week in 2000: One was a longer gown only seen on the runway, making it a rare archival piece. The second design, the body-hugging silhouette worn by Carrie, is seen in the series. Since the character brought the design to the forefront of the fashion scene, many have sought to emulate her style and get their hands on the timeless piece. Ortega, 22, who became an ambassador of the brand in 2023, seems to be its latest fan. htc...
