Jason on son's debut in Dune 3: He'll be better than I've ever been
India, July 23 -- Actor Jason Momoa has opened up about feeling both disbelief and pride over son Nakoa-Wolf Momoa's casting in director Denis Villeneuve's Dune 3, admitting he initially hoped to keep him out of acting.
"This, this kid, what the hell? I'm like, no, no, you can't act. No, you're not gonna be in. And then he literally did it on his own. The casting of Nakoa-Wolf, 16, in Dune 3 was reported in June this year, though not officially confirmed. Insiders have been that speculating he may play a young Atreides or a Fremen, as Denis gears up to adapt Dune: Messiah, introducing a new generation of characters, reported Deadline.
Jason himself played a role in 2021's Dune, portraying Duncan Idaho, the fiercely loyal swordmaster to House Atreides. Though his character met a tragic end in the first film, Duncan left a lasting impression, becoming a fan favourite and symbolising the emotional weight of loyalty and sacrifice.htc...
