J-Hope faces backlash after revealing he pretends to enjoy his work

outh Korean rapper-singer and BTS member J-Hope has sparked a debate online after an old video, in which he said he sometimes pretends to enjoy his work, resurfaced online. The clip prompted some users to even call for his retirement and also reignited discussion about the intense pressure faced by top K-pop stars.
In the interview clip, which is now going viral, the 32-year-old says, "There are not many things that I actually enjoy. I think I pretend to like them. When I talk about it, I say I love my work and I like listening to music because I do, and that it's my life and I enjoy it, but I'm not sure if I really do."
While loyal fans, known as ARMY, rushed to defend him and described his comments as a sign of honesty and vulnerability, others criticised the remarks (inset above), calling them "sympathy baiting" and saying he should "retire and make space for others."
One user wrote, "Just retire, you have enough money. The greed can't be that high," while another added, "It's obvious none of them have cared like in eight years."HTC...
