India, July 1 -- With the month of July being celebrated as Healthy Vision Month, it's important to add foods to your diet that help boost your eyesight. Recently, the California Prune Board also highlighted the importance of adding prunes to your meals as they are beneficial for your health.
Prunes are brimming with vitamin A, and it's known that it is crucial for maintaining good vision and antioxidant. Dr Poonam Tiwari, Head of Department, Dietetics, Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow, says, "This fruit is full of fibre and contains a wide range of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.
