India, Oct. 12 -- Singer Dhvani Bhanushali addressed the viral video from 2022 of filmmaker Farah Khan stopping her mid-performance, which led to widespread trolling over alleged use of auto-tune. The clip, recorded during a media interaction where Dhvani was singing a few lines of her single Vaaste (2021), showed Farah tapping her on the back and saying, "Please note, none of them used auto-tune." The moment quickly spread across social media, with users accusing Dhvani of relying on correction. "The whole thing happened when I was insanely sick and four Dolos down. I don't know why I even sang that day, and it wasn't even that bad. Some idiot put autotune on it," the singer told Hauterrfly, adding that the video was modified to make it worse. "It was modified in a lot of places. I'm not saying it was the best performance. I was sick, it probably was my low moment. But people have just made it worse. And they're selling it in my name." The 27-year-old also shared that Farah apologised for the incident later. "Farah ma'am came to me and said, 'Beta, I'm sorry'. I said, 'Okay ma'am, aap humare saath party karne aayengi raat ko?' and she said yes. Then this whole fiasco happened, but I never blamed her for it. It wasn't her fault, nor was it mine. Later, I met her again, she came home, and I asked her if she'd make a video with me, and she kindly did." htc...
